How to care for a monkey cup plant?
This plant is a total breeze to take care of! Just let it bask in some indirect sunlight because it's a tropical plant, and if you have the space, facing north is perfect for it. Give it regular waterings to keep its soil nice and moist, but try to avoid making it a little muddy. You can even use rainwater or distilled water if that's an option for you!
Find a soil mix that drains well for carnivorous plants and make sure you give it insects as food. But don't go overboard because it might harm its growth.
This plant absolutely loves soil with good drainage! It'll thrive if it's made up of 50% long-fibered sphagnum moss and 50% perlite.
And don't forget to give your plants a little boost with some NPK fertilizer during the planting season!
This plant is so unique! All you need to do to look after it is position it in a bright, indirect location, keep the humidity at 60-80% and the temperature at 65-85°F.
I'm so glad you're interested in my plant! I've got three different kinds of plants at home, including a monkey cup plant. They're so fascinating, aren't they? I usually keep them in a shady spot with the sun, like on a south or east-facing window. And they love it when the soil is moist, around 60% humidity or more. If your plant is a bit dry, you can use a humidifier to help it!
